Hotel Pickup & Arrival at Surf School
We collect you from your accommodation in Agadir, Taghazout, or nearby areas in our comfortable transport vehicle (typically around 9:00 AM for morning lessons or 2:00 PM for afternoon lessons, confirmed the day before). The drive to Taghazout takes approximately 20 minutes from Agadir, during which your guide will explain what to expect and answer any questions. Arrive at our surf school on Taghazout Beach, one of Morocco's most famous surf spots. The surf school is well-equipped with changing facilities, equipment storage, and a comfortable area to prepare. Meet your certified surf instructor who will introduce themselves and explain the lesson plan. Get fitted for your wetsuit (all sizes available, ensuring a comfortable fit) and select your beginner-friendly soft-top surfboard (the instructor will help you choose the right size based on your height and weight). The beach offers perfect learning conditions with gentle waves and warm water year-round. The instructor will give you a brief orientation to the beach, point out the learning area, and explain the conditions for the day.

You'll start by practicing paddling (the foundation of surfing), learning how to position yourself on the board, and understanding how to read the waves. Practice catching your first whitewater waves (waves that have already broken) - these are perfect for beginners because they're predictable and easy to catch. Your instructor provides hands-on assistance, helping you pop up (the move from lying to standing on the board) and ride waves. They'll be right there with you, giving you a push when needed, helping you balance, and providing encouragement. As you gain confidence, you'll progress to catching unbroken waves (waves that haven't broken yet) - this is the real thrill of surfing! Return to the Hotel
After an exhilarating surf lesson, it's time to head back. You'll have time to return your equipment (the instructor will help you rinse and store your board and wetsuit), change into dry clothes in the surf school's changing facilities, and receive your photos and videos from the instructor (usually sent via WhatsApp or email). This is a great time to chat with your instructor about your progress, ask questions about surfing, and get recommendations for continuing your surfing journey. Many instructors are happy to share tips for practicing on your own or recommend other good beginner spots. We'll transport you back to your accommodation in Agadir, Taghazout, or nearby areas, arriving around 12:00 PM for morning lessons or 5:00 PM for afternoon lessons. What to Bring
